About the Role

What You Will Be Doing:

• Delegating and assisting with inspections to eliminate potential hazards
• Deploying and implementing corporate leadership initiatives
• Overseeing an HR budget with the VP of HR
• Maintaining HR compliance in partnership with direct reports
• Building positive relationships and interfacing regularly with stakeholders and executive committee
• Implementing and delivering accountable metrics of employee development and engagement
• Managing company benefits administration with a third party administrator
• Collaborating with hiring managers and HRBPs on HR-related discussions
• Identifying areas of improvement in systems, people, and process related to HR
• Mentoring and developing a remote HR team

Requirements

•   ­­Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline

•   8+ years of experience managing a full scope HR function (manufacturing is a plus)

•   3+ years of experience developing, supporting, and leading HRBP teams

•   2+ years of experience managing a budget

•   Advanced experience practicing and implementing HR best practices

•   Advanced business acumen, collaborative problem-solving skills, and ability to obtain buy-in

•   Working knowledge of an ATS, Microsoft, and HRIS systems relating to human resources

•   Ability to travel 20-25% domestic

About the Company

Petty Marsh is partnering with our client in the Chemical industry in search of a Human Resources Director, reporting to the VP of HR, and will support the full scope of HR responsibility as a partner of the organization for strategic direction and initiatives. This includes leading a team of four (4) HR Business Partners while maintaining the organization’ planning, implementation and evaluation of programs, policies, and practices in a four (4) state region.
