About the Role
What You Will Be Doing:
• Developing programs to enhance and foster safe behavior to eliminate unsafe conditions
• Investigating active and potential incidents using root cause and corrective action
• Collaborating with corporate, leads, and colleagues to implement assessment recommendations
• Managing the site’s permitting, waste, emergency response, inspections, and regulatory requirements
• Supporting and partnering with HR and Ops on return-to-work and pre-employment evaluations
• Analyzing data and communicating stories with team leads for educational opportunities
• Creating training and communications to deliver ongoing site safety awareness
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related discipline
• 4+ years of experience related directly to implementing onsite EHS safety in manufacturing
• Intermediate experience with EHS software
• Intermediate-Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• Advanced communication skills to collaboratively work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to travel 5% domestic

This person would play a critical role in coaching teams, implementing policy and programs for the safety of employees, and using their proactive passion for EHS to foster and manage a safety-first excellence environment at every opportunity.
