• Analyzes production reports using complex data-driven decisions
• Reviews, implements and monitors change initiatives
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Serves as primary contact between executive and production
• Implements and delivers procedures to maintain high quality customer expectations
• Encourages a process improvement way of working and thinking
• Fosters a collaborative, productive, safe, and compliant environment
• Identifies areas of improvement in systems, quality, people, and processes
• Monitors key metrics in cost, schedule, safety, and quality
• Implements best practices with Safety to ensure safe working environment
• Develops six (6-7) direct lead and manager reports
• Practice manufacturing excellence
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or related discipline
6-9+ years of experience leading floor manufacturing production
4+ years of production leadership
3+ years of effective report analyzing
Advanced understanding of safety and quality standards in certified facility
Intermediate-Advanced proficiency in data-driven decision-making
Intermediate-Advanced experience practicing lean manufacturing
Ability to travel 10-15% domestic
Ability to work onsite full-time with exposure to solvents, dust, and loud noise

Petty Marsh is partnering with our client in search of a strategic General Operations Manager to serve on the strategic leadership team, support the full scope in leading manufacturing production, and serve as a leader of process, quality, maintenance, and logistics. This includes maintaining the organization’ production planning, budgeting, scheduling, and optimization of process and safety.
